Mixed Mode Survey : Using multiple ways, or modes, of gathering data for a single survey or questionnaire.
Mode: A way to conduct a survey. Ex: Face-to-Face, Internet, Phone, Mail.
Poll: To record the opinion or vote of.
Polling: The act of conducting a poll.
Registered Voter: A person who is eligible to vote.
Respondent: A person who replies or responds to another.
Sample: A smaller, more manageable version of a larger group. Used when population size is too large to survey.
Survey: A method of research used for collecting information from a predefined group of respondents.
Weighting: Each sample is attached a value, or weight, that is used to obtain an estimate of population total.
